Job Description

As a City Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing plans for urban growth and development. Your work will involve transportation improvements, infrastructure projects, and ensuring compliance with zoning regulations and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for proposed developments.
• Facilitate interdepartmental coordination to ensure effective project delivery.
• Adapt plans based on environmental regulations and community feedback.
• Develop strategies for managing urban growth and environmental sustainability.
• Utilise GIS and other software tools for planning and analysis.
• Train and mentor junior staff on urban planning principles and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering or urban planning, ideally with public sector experience.
