Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat various animal health issues, perform surgeries, and promote animal health and welfare. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in veterinary medicine and have a passion for providing exceptional care to animals.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals and conduct tests to identify health issues.
  • Perform surgical operations and facilitate recovery for animal patients.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of pets.
  • Educate clients on proper pet care and nutrition.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the clinic.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide training as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Further studies in veterinary specialties is an advantage.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
