Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Consultant who will play a crucial role in helping our clients in Johannesburg with their tax obligations and strategies. In this role, you will prepare detailed tax returns, analyze tax documents, and provide insights on tax liabilities. You will also stay updated on any changes in tax legislation to assist clients effectively, ensuring they benefit from all available deductions and credits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of tax returns for various clients.
• Perform in-depth tax research and analysis to understand implications.
• Support clients in developing long-term tax strategies to reduce liabilities.
• Represent clients in case of tax disputes or audits.
• Advise clients on the tax impact of their financial decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing tax obligations and potential savings.
• Assess clients’ financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Implement effective tax management solutions for clients.
• Stay informed on tax compliance and reporting changes.
• Conduct training sessions for junior tax staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Honors degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of extensive experience in taxation
