Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and overseeing of various construction projects. You will collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure projects are completed to specifications and on time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis to ensure the integrity of designs.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure quality construction.
• Evaluate project proposals and make recommendations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all engineering activities.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress.
• Facilitate the procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
• Ensure all engineering practices are in line with legal and company standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of dedicated civil engineering experience
