Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to oversee the design and construction of innovative infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with municipal authorities for project approvals.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans and specifications.
• Review and approve engineering designs and construction documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Ensure all projects comply with environmental standards.
• Assist in managing project documentation and contracts.

Requirements

Education

• BSc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering Management are a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• SAP2000
• STAAD Pro

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Professional Registration
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in budgeting and cost estimation: Prior experience managing project budgets effectively.
• Familiarity with industry regulations: Knowledge of local and national construction codes and standards.
