We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating health issues in a variety of animals, ensuring their overall well-being through comprehensive medical care. You will work within a supportive team and have access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and treatment to sick or injured animals.
• Perform examinations and diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and monitor recovery.
• Implement preventive healthcare protocols for patients.
• Engage in client communications regarding animal care and treatment options.
• Keep current with veterinary advancements to enhance practice.
• Participate in case reviews and team meetings.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Veterinary Science or related field

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a veterinary setting

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• Fear Free Certified
• Certified in Canine and Feline CPR

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in animal behaviour: Knowledgeable in animal behaviour, aiding in handling and treatment.
• Veterinary business management experience: Background in managing veterinary operations or clinics.
