Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vessel Captain to lead and manage the operations of our vessels. The Vessel Captain will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient navigation, crew management, and adherence to maritime regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Command and operate the vessel, ensuring safe and efficient navigation.
  • Supervise the crew and maintain constant communication with all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime laws and company policies.
  • Manage navigational and safety equipment onboard.
  • Coordinate and plan vessel operations including route optimization and cargo handling.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust plans to ensure safety.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies or distress signals.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and other operational records.
  • Conduct regular vessel inspections to determine maintenance needs.
  • Provide leadership and training to crew members.

Requirements

Education
  • Maritime Captain's License
  • STCW Certification
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar operational role.
