Job Description

We are seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment and systems. You will work closely with clients to ensure seamless communication services and respond swiftly to technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain VoIP and data services.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Support the rollout of new technology initiatives.
• Provide accurate reports on system performance and issues.
• Work with vendors to coordinate installations and repairs.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on the latest technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Postgraduate certification in telecommunications is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in telecommunications
