Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice to patients, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Provide consultations to patients on medication management and nutrition.
• Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on medications dispensed.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with pharmacy practices.
• Maintain and order pharmacy stock to meet patient and regulatory needs.
• Foster positive relationships with patients to enhance trust and satisfaction.
• Utilize pharmacy management software for accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy
