Job Description

As a General Practitioner at Health First Medical Centre, your work will contribute to improving healthcare outcomes in the community. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health through examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens.
• Advise patients about lifestyle changes to promote health.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and training.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Collaborate in healthcare research initiatives when applicable.
• Serve as a mentor to junior medical staff and interns.
• Facilitate community health programs to enhance public health education.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in family medicine or related field preferred

Experience

• Experience in a family practice setting is advantageous
