Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our Durban team. In this role, you will assess environmental policies, conduct audits, and provide recommendations to enhance compliance and sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site visits for environmental audits and assessments.
  • Compile and analyze data to create comprehensive environmental reports.
  • Guide clients on legislative compliance and sustainable practices.
  • Engage stakeholders in discussions about environmental policies.
  • Lead training sessions for internal and client teams on environmental issues.
  • Explore new technologies and methodologies to improve environmental outcomes.
  • Offer practical guidance on pollution control measures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented environmental strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
  • Professional certifications in Environmental Management are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in environmental consultancy or similar roles with proven project success
