Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain testing strategies for our applications, while collaborating with other teams to deliver exceptional software solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document acceptance criteria for new features.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
• Support DevOps initiatives to streamline the testing process.
• Provide input on test automation strategies and tools.
• Assist in mentoring junior QA staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance

Technical Skills

• Automated Testing
• Database Testing
• Bug Tracking Systems

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• QA Management Certification
• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of security testing.: Familiarity with security testing tools and practices.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.: Experience in testing applications hosted in cloud environments will be beneficial.
