UX Designer

Job Description

Join our dynamic design team as a UX Designer. You'll be responsible for understanding user needs and translating them into compelling design solutions. Your role in Johannesburg will involve user research, prototyping, and delivering design specifications that ensure optimal user experiences across our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze user requirements to inform design decisions.
• Create intuitive user flows and experiences that improve usability.
• Build interactive prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with developers on implementation and design consistency.
• Gather and analyze user feedback for design improvements.
• Ensure that all designs align with the current brand identity.
• Contribute to design system and guidelines for future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in design with a focus on user experience

Technical Skills

• Wireframing
• UX Design Software

• Empathy

Certifications

• UX Professional Certificate
• Interaction Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for inclusive design.
