Job Description

The position of Electrical Engineer in Cape Town calls for a detail-oriented and proactive individual. Responsibilities include designing electrical networks, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards.
  • Conduct and manage testing and verification of electrical equipment.
  • Actively participate in project planning and risk assessment.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical support during project execution.
  • Lead discussions with clients and stakeholders for project alignment.
  • Evaluate and improve existing electrical systems for efficiency.
  • Deliver presentations and reports to project stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering registration is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
