We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role involves assessing security risks, developing mitigation strategies, and staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response activities and conduct forensic analysis.
• Implement and manage security solutions like firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Engage in threat hunting and proactive risk assessment.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors for security solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
