Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Dentist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health, a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing various dental procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with a variety of dental concerns.
  • Design treatment plans in partnership with patients.
  • Advise on oral health care regimens and preventative measures.
  • Manage patient referrals to specialists as necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Educate patients on dental hygiene and preventative care.
  • Work with the dental team to enhance office efficiency.
  • Participate in continuing education and training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in specific dental procedures are a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a practicing Dentist
