Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have a thorough understanding of tax regulations in South Africa. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, managing tax audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of all tax documents.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Act as a liaison between clients and tax authorities.
• Investigate and resolve tax-related discrepancies.
• Assist clients with tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports for management.
• Implement efficient processes for tax return preparation.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes and updates.
• Review internal processes for potential tax savings.
• Support the finance team with financial forecasting and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional Accountant (SA) certification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation and compliance
