Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat medical and surgical issues in various animal species.
• Work closely with pet owners to discuss treatment options and outcomes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the veterinary practice.
• Participate in after-hours emergency coverage as needed.
• Conduct physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide compassionate care and support for animals and their owners.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Postgraduate studies in Animal Health is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia Management
• Diagnostic Imaging

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
