Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare and review tax returns and ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal financial controls.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal accounting policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
