Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to lead our public health initiatives in Gqeberha. This role involves assessing community health needs, developing strategies for health improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a healthier environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead public health investigations and epidemiological studies.
  • Promote vaccination and immunisation programs within the community.
  • Identify and mitigate potential public health risks.
  • Work with schools and businesses to implement health education programs.

  • Utilise health data analytics tools for effective decision-making.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
