E-commerce Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an E-commerce Specialist to join our vibrant team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing online sales strategies, driving traffic to our website, and enhancing the overall customer experience. You will work closely with marketing and sales teams to define objectives and measure success.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform.
• Develop strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure timely product delivery.
• Utilize A/B testing to optimize online campaigns and user experience.
• Implement improvements based on user experience feedback.
• Create monthly performance reports for management review.
• Participate in training initiatives for staff on e-commerce best practices.
• Support in creating marketing material for new product launches.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Marketing or Business is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in e-commerce management or similar role

Technical Skills

• E-commerce strategy development
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Experience with PPC advertising: Knowledge of pay-per-click advertising methods that increase site traffic.
