Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills to enhance our internal processes and risk management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the audit team and coordinate audit schedules.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Lead special projects related to compliance and operational efficiency.
• Review and enhance audit methodologies and tools.
• Prepare audit work papers and ensure timely completion.
• Advise management on risk management strategies.
• Conduct follow-up audits to assess progress on recommendations.
• Facilitate training sessions for the audit team.
• Provide expertise in compliance audits and assessments.
• Participate in external audits as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in internal audit or risk management
