Responsibilities

• Ensure project designs adhere to specified standards and best practices.
• Conduct soil, environmental, and field studies to inform designs.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports for senior management.
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors for project execution.
• Assess and make recommendations for contract modifications.
• Engage in research and development for innovative design techniques.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering highly regarded

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Structural Analysis

Certifications

• Registered Engineer Technologist (Eng. Tech.)
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification optional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sotho: Conversational
