Job Description

The Bank Courier will be responsible for the secure and timely delivery of important documents and packages between bank branches and other business partners. The successful candidate will possess excellent time management and communication skills, ensuring all deliveries meet tight schedules and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivering documents and packages across multiple branches.
• Documenting each delivery in the tracking system accurately.
• Collaborating with teams to ensure timely mail processing.
• Interacting positively with staff and customers while maintaining professionalism.
• Ensuring compliance with all security protocols regarding package handling.
• Maintaining a positive relationship with internal stakeholders.
• Participating in training sessions related to health and safety.
• Identifying opportunities for route optimization to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a courier or logistics role.

Technical Skills

• Time management
• Mobile devices for communication

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Bilingual proficiency: Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (or other local languages).
• Previous courier experience: Experience in a courier role would be a distinct advantage.
