Job Description

As a Certified Prosthetist (CP), you'll play a key role in transforming lives by designing, fitting, and fabricating custom prosthetic limbs for patients. You will assess individual needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of prosthetic devices in real-world applications.
• Assist with the development of rehabilitation plans alongside physiotherapists.
• Conduct follow-up visits and adjustments for long-term patient care.
• Implement best practices in prosthetic design and fitting techniques.
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients.
• Contribute to community outreach and education initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics is preferred
• Certification by SAOPA

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in prosthetic design and fabrication

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
