Job Description

Join Aerospace Dynamics Ltd. as an Aerospace Engineer in Cape Town. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and development of aerospace systems. We're looking for an innovative engineer who is passionate about aviation and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Research and innovate designs for new aerospace systems;
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize design efficiency;
• Monitor and evaluate project progress against technical requirements;
• Provide leadership in defining project scope and deliverables;
• Prepare and present engineering findings to stakeholders;
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermodynamics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Aerospace Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with aerodynamics simulation tools: Familiarity with software used for simulating aerodynamic performance.
• Project management experience: Ability to manage complex aerospace projects and cross-functional teams.
