Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect in Cape Town to design and implement cloud strategies for our clients. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in cloud platform architecture and familiarity with DevOps practices. You will work closely with development teams to create scalable and efficient cloud infrastructures that support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work in tandem with developers and IT staff for seamless cloud integration.
• Document cloud infrastructure and maintain updated architecture diagrams.
• Perform assessments of cloud services and identify improvement opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their cloud requirements.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for internal teams on cloud technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a similar discipline
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a technical role focusing on cloud technologies
