UX/UI Designer

Job Description

Join our team as a UX/UI Designer in Cape Town, where your creativity and attention to detail will shine. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, and deliver user-friendly interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging user interfaces that enhance user experience.
• Participate in the entire design process from concept to final execution.
• Gather feedback from users and iterate on designs accordingly.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Create design documentation to support development teams.
• Assist in the development of user personas and scenarios.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of design experience, preferably in a digital capacity

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• InVision
• User Testing Tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Google UX Design Certificate

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS Animations: Experience in creating interactive and animated web elements.
• Experience working with Cross-Functional Teams: Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, development, and product teams.
