Job Description

A Blending Technician is responsible for blending and mixing materials to create products according to specifications. The ideal candidate will operate blending equipment, follow safety protocols, and maintain quality standards while ensuring the production process runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Run and control blending machines and equipment effectively.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure production goals are met on time.
• Oversee the quality of materials and end products during blending.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to cleanliness standards.
• Report maintenance needs and supply requirements to the Production Manager.
• Train new operators on equipment and safety procedures.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production efficiency and challenges.
• Contribute ideas for process optimization in blends and mixtures.
• Assist with risk assessments and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in a relevant area
• Experience in the chemical manufacturing sector is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
