As an Investment Banking Analyst in Cape Town, you will play a critical role in managing financial models, conducting market research, and supporting various investment strategies. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial markets. You will work closely with senior bankers to analyse industry trends and assist with client presentations, ensuring we provide exemplary service to our partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review analytical reports for management.
• Support the execution of transactions and assist in negotiations.
• Analysing financial statements and creating performance summaries.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss project progress and updates.
• Provide training and guidance to junior analysts.
• Collect and compile data from multiple sources for reporting purposes.
• Assist in drafting investment proposals and marketing materials.
• Conduct scenario analyses to assess risks and opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• CFA or similar qualification preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years in an investment banking firm or financial analysis role
