Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in East London. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing public health programs that address the health needs of our community. Your expertise will help to develop strategies that improve health outcomes and promote wellness across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate health screenings and immunisation campaigns.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Participate in regional public health initiatives and forums.
  • Provide health education to diverse populations, including youth and vulnerable groups.
  • Develop communication strategies to effectively promote health messages.
  • Engage with media to raise awareness of public health issues.
  • Support fundraising efforts for health programs.
  • Conduct workshops on chronic disease prevention and management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or similar is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in public health initiatives
