Job Description

A Die Mounter is responsible for mounting dies onto press machines, ensuring that they are properly aligned and functioning effectively. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality as part of a thriving manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up dies according to specifications.
• Monitor and adjust dies as necessary during production runs.
• Inspect dies for wear and damage, ensuring top quality output.
• Document all maintenance activities and machine adjustments.
• Work with quality control to ensure adherence to standards.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for die mounting processes.
• Participate in team meetings to address production challenges.
• Provide support to junior team members and share best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in die mounting or die cutting.

Technical Skills

• Press machine operation
• Safety protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent
