We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Your role will involve assessing environmental impacts, conducting field studies, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork for environmental assessments and monitoring.
• Review and interpret environmental regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development of environmental management plans.
• Prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders regarding environmental issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex environmental projects.
• Support the implementation of eco-friendly practices within client organizations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental projects.
• Engage in continual learning and professional development in environmental science.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or relevant discipline
• Master's degree favoured

Experience

• 3+ years in environmental consulting, project management or related fields
