DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes using the latest cloud technologies. You will develop and maintain tools for deployment and monitoring as well as troubleshoot issues in dev, test, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.
• Monitor system performance and respond swiftly to issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design scalable systems.
• Manage cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Automate system configurations using Terraform or Ansible.
• Ensure high security, availability, and disaster recovery of systems.
• Conduct performance tuning and load testing for our applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of working in DevOps roles
