DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes using the latest cloud technologies. You will develop and maintain tools for deployment and monitoring as well as troubleshoot issues in dev, test, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning.
• Assist in establishing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Implement security best practices across DevOps processes.
• Work collaboratively with teams to enhance system scalability.
• Train and mentor junior team members on DevOps tools and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of working in DevOps roles

Technical Skills

• Linux
• CI/CD Tools

Certifications

• Docker Certified Associate
• Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Cloud Management Platforms: Familiarity with tools that manage and monitor cloud infrastructure.
• DevOps Toolchain Implementation: Experience in implementing end-to-end DevOps toolchains.
