Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our facility in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management, process optimisation, and team leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring that operations are running smoothly and efficiently, while also maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of warehouse management, including shipping, receiving, and storage.
• Develop and implement training programs for new staff members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the warehouse.
• Analyze warehouse layout and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers and transport companies for delivery and logistics.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
