Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Official to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will work on initiatives aimed at enhancing public health and ensuring community well-being. A strong focus on data analysis, policy development, and community outreach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic health programs targeting community needs.
• Monitor and analyze public health data to inform decision-making.
• Work with government and non-profit organizations to develop public health policies.
• Facilitate training and workshops for community health workers.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of public health interventions.
• Prepare health promotion materials for diverse audiences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a public health-related role

Certifications

• Certified Public Health Professional (CPHP)
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
