Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist in Port Elizabeth to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience in safeguarding networks, data, and systems from cyber threats. You'll play a key role in our security protocols while continuously improving our security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential security weaknesses and recommend solutions.
• Assist in developing and executing company-wide security strategies.
• Conduct incident response drills and participate in real incidents.
• Collaborate with external partners for security assessments.
• Ensure the encryption of sensitive data at rest and in transit.
• Utilize SIEM tools to monitor system activities for anomalies.
• Document security processes and policies.
• Provide risk analysis and recommendations to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Certifications in cybersecurity (like CCSP) are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
