Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks for optimal performance.
• Implement backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
• Perform routine audits of IT resources and software licenses.
• Support remote users and ensure secure access to resources.
• Assist in developing IT policies and best practices.
• Collaborate on system upgrades and migrations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in IT support preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience providing IT support

Technical Skills

• Active Directory
• Remote Desktop Services
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash)

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Customer service

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• ITIL Foundation Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure): Experience with cloud technologies and services.
• Certification in CompTIA Network+: Holding a Network+ certification adds value to your application.
