Job Description

As a General Healthcare Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of patient support in our Port Elizabeth facility. This role involves direct interaction with patients, helping with personal care tasks, and assisting healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to patients in alignment with care plans.
• Assist in the mobility of patients both within and outside the facility.
• Engage patients in conversation and provide companionship to improve their well-being.
• Contribute to team meetings about patient progress and observations.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in ongoing training and skills development programs.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Healthcare or similar qualification

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role preferred

• Afrikaans: Basic
