The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainable practices. You will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present engineering reports to stakeholders.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify structural designs.
• Assess the structural integrity of existing buildings and recommend modifications.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to address any issues.
• Stay updated with advancements in structural engineering techniques.

Advantageous

• AutoCAD certification: Certification in AutoCAD or similar software.
• Experience with structural design codes: Knowledge of SANS/SABS standards.
