Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Environmental Engineer based in Cape Town. This role requires a passionate individual to drive impactful projects focusing on sustainability and environmental management. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in regulations, environmental assessments, and innovative solutions to ecological challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives aimed at reducing the company’s carbon footprint.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on project design for sustainability.
  • Monitor ongoing projects for environmental compliance.
  • Develop educational resources on environmental best practices.
  • Stay abreast of developments in environmental legislation.
  • Support the team with environmental quality assurance.
  • Represent the company at environmental conferences and workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in environmental engineering or related field
