Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer systems and networks, coupled with a strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues. You will be responsible for assisting users, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring system efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up new users and manage access permissions.
• Conduct regular IT inventory and audits.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
• Provide recommendations for hardware and software upgrades.
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Office 365
• Help Desk Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in cybersecurity: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles and practices.
