Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for safeguarding our digital infrastructure and supporting our clients in navigating the cybersecurity landscape.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations and incident response.
• Analyze security breaches to identify their root causes.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in case of a security threat.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity technologies.
• Engage in continuous education and certification in the field.
• Advise management on security strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a relevant field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity roles or IT security

• Security Auditing

Certifications

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
