Job Description

We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented Construction Manager in Pretoria to oversee various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and the overall project execution while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction management including planning, execution, and closing.
• Direct site operations and ensure compliance with project plans.
• Manage project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Engage in negotiations with clients and suppliers.
• Monitor quality control for construction materials and workmanship.
• Assess challenges and develop action plans accordingly.
• Train and mentor junior staff and laborers.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide leadership and direction to the onsite team.
• Implement project management best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar field
• Project Management certification is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of progressive experience in construction management
