Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions for patients.
• Advocate for patients' health and well-being.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide mentorship.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety audits.
• Lead health promotion and screening programs.
• Assist in research initiatives to improve patient care.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Medication Management

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Experience in Emergency Care settings: Background in urgent care or emergency nursing.
