Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Jack Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydraulic jacks to lift heavy objects in various construction and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage hydraulic lifting operations on construction sites.
• Regularly inspect and perform maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.
• Effectively communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations.
• Conduct risk assessments before starting operations.
• Keep accurate records of hydraulic jack operations and maintenance.
• Help with the loading and unloading of heavy machinery.
• Assist in training new operators on hydraulic equipment usage.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Any additional technical certifications would be advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating similar machinery is essential
