We’re looking for a dynamic Investment Banker to join our Cape Town office. This role requires you to engage with clients, identify their financial needs, and assist in developing tailored investment strategies that align with their goals. Strong quantitative skills and commercial acumen are essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial statements to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Lead negotiations and manage transaction processes from inception to closing.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financing solutions with client needs.
• Assist clients in understanding the strategic implications of investment decisions.
• Manage execution of transactions and assist clients throughout the process.
• Prepare and analyze financial documents and reports for accuracy.
• Mentor junior bankers and assist in developing their skills.

• Experience with deal structuring and due diligence processes: Proven ability to manage complex financing deals from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools: Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms.
