Job Description

As a Textile Machine Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation of textile machinery. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and assessments of textile machinery for potential issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce machine downtime.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery failures and developing solutions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimize production disruptions.
• Document all maintenance activities in compliance with company standards.
• Research and recommend new tools and techniques to improve maintenance efficiency.
• Lead maintenance improvement initiatives and share results with management.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to a culture of safety within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Textile Machine Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent
• Additional certifications in machinery maintenance preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in textile machinery maintenance

• Technical Knowledge of Textile Machinery
• Electrical and Mechanical Systems
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
