You will be responsible for drafting designs, managing project timelines, and liaising with clients to bring their ideas to life. Responsibilities

  • Design and create architectural plans and elevations.
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their architectural vision and requirements.
  • Verify that designs meet local zoning laws and building codes.
  • Prepare and present detailed construction documents.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and project teams throughout the design process.
  • Ensure timely project delivery by managing timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Integrate sustainable design practices into all projects.
  • Research and implement new architectural software tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
  • Master's degree in Urban Design is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in architecture, with a portfolio of completed projects
Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • 3ds Max
Soft Skills
  • Leadership
  • Negotiation
Certifications
  • SACAP Registered Architect
  • Green Building Council of South Africa member
Languages
  • English: Fluent
