Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Systems Support Lead to manage our technology support team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will lead efforts to enhance our IT infrastructure and provide top-notch support to our users, ensuring smooth operations and high user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT support team, focusing on performance and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and user manuals.
  • Train team members on new technologies and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Review and refine IT support processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss IT requirements and improvements.
  • Ensure the team adheres to deadlines for support requests.
  • Track budgetary expenditure on IT resources and report discrepancies.
  • Engage with other departments to align IT support with overall business strategies.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms for continuous service improvement.
  • Participate in IT project planning and execution.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years in IT support roles, with increasing responsibility
